The Ministry of Culture of the Government of Mexico, through the Centro de la Imagen, presents the exhibition “La luz es una flecha sin destino”, a review of Mauricio Alejo’s most recent work, which focuses on certain materialistic concerns that he explores through everyday objects, in order to propose adjustments to common habits and perceptions in society. In this project, through various installations, photographs, videos and sculptures, Mauricio Alejo invites viewers to imagine other possible areas within physical space. The exhibition presents 34 pieces selected to explore the results of Alejo’s research on space, light and their implications.
