Cristina Garrido in the British Museum collection

Two intervened postcards by Cristina Garrido, from her series Veil of Invisibility, are part of the British Museum collection.
Both of these works were made while she was studying in 2011 for her MA at Wimbledon College of Art, where her Finals show was entirely of postcard-related material.

Two Tate colour postcards with the art-objects painted out in acrylic: Carl Andre’s Equivalent VIII, 1966 and Rachel Whiteread’s Untitled (Air Bed II), 1992, both from an on-going series. 2011
